Lloyd Weber
I’m the founder of Tech PIE and have over 30 years of experience in the IT and computer industry in various roles, primarily in technical writing, but also in process and business analysis, project management, and training development.
I’ve managed complex, long-term documentation projects for large, small, and startup organizations and have earned a reputation for producing high quality documentation, having won several awards from the Society for Technical Communication. For the last 20 years, I’ve worked as a consultant and contractor at several companies and have seen it all—from best practices to no practices, and a lot in between!
I especially enjoy documentation planning and design, which serve as a foundation for the development of documentation and training content and help ensure that the right people have the right information at the right time.
I’ve taught several communication-oriented courses at the college and university level and hold a Master’s degree in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
